Tracking Assists

PointCare has the ability to track the number of assists made by user. PointCare tracks assists using automatic tracking and manually inputted assists.

Automatically tracked assists include:  screening a member, selecting a program or changing an enrollment status.

To manually add an assist:

  • Go to the profile of the member you are assisting
  • In the notes section of the profile, make a note of the assist encounter
  • Use format #assist-[number of counted assists] to indicate number of assists generated*
  • Click Save
  • You'll notice the hashtag will turn blue indicating it was entered correctly

For example: The patient comes into the clinic to drop off a form for income verification. The CEC will make a note in the member’s profile to track the patient encounter as one assist.

Jane head of household dropped off income verification #assist-1

* The assist hashtag must follow the format “#assist-[number of counted assists]”, no other hashtags will be tabulated or counted.
