PointCare's Response to COVID-19

The PointCare team is here for you as we are all impacted by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. We are safe and continue to be committed to our clients and their patients' needs. As the U.S. Government's response to the COVID-19 pandemic enters a new phase, we are here to help. While many things may seem uncertain with social distancing protocols, related economic impact, and a progressing pandemic, we wanted to let you know that PointCare is continuing to ensure that the platform, especially PointCare Qualify™, remains active and up-to-date.

Our team is thinking of you; we hope that everyone is safe and getting the assistance needed. Don't hesitate to reach out to us for assistance.

To help you navigate this situation successfully, here's an update on what we're doing.

PointCare Qualify™ screening updates:

Screening for programs is important now more than ever to help your vulnerable populations secure coverage and other resources during this crisis. Our team will continue to update our eligibility rules and program offerings to ensure they provide the maximum resources for your patients. If you have any questions about changing eligibility rules or program offerings, please contact your Customer Success Advisor at help@pointcare.com.

Understanding COVID-19 Ongoing Changes:

In this State of Emergency, the impact of COVID-19 has public health and welfare implications that transcend the medical impact exposure can have on people. These implications range from financial to mental health needs and beyond.

Although there have been no programs that have specifically responded to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (SB HR 6201) responds to the following concerns:

  • Food Insecurity
  • Family and Medical Leave
  • Unemployment and Underemployment
  • Paid Sick Leave

Services respond to extended need through fund allocation and/or waiver supported by Federal, State and/or Municipal government(s).

Next Steps:

As this situation unfolds, the PointCare team will continue to keep PointCare Qualify™ up-to-date with the latest resources and eligibility calculations. As other updates become available, we'll share emails like this to help you navigate eligibility discussions.

Again, please contact your CSA (help@pointcare.com) if you have questions or need assistance.

In good health,

The PointCare Team
