CPCA and PointCare partner to provide community health centers with more sustainable revenue through coverage management amidst ACA repeal

WALNUT CREEK, Calif., March 14, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- PointCare, pioneers of Total Coverage Management, and the California Primary Care Association (CPCA), announced today that the CPCA has selected PointCare as its newest partner to help California community health centers move forward and become data driven through coverage management.

"One of our primary goals is to provide our members with innovative resources needed to enhance their ability to thrive in the ever changing healthcare marketplace," said Robert Beaudry, Executive Vice President and COO, CPCA. "With the ACA repeal in motion, our relationship with PointCare and the implementation of Total Coverage Management will be important for our members to generate sustainable revenue through more covered visits and become data driven organizations to withstand any changes with the repeal."

Through Total Coverage Management providers can better manage PCP assignments and take proactive steps to ensure coverage retention for their patient population. PointCare's unique solution also includes an interactive reporting dashboard that streamlines reimbursements, manages enrollment, and effectively facilitates operational performance, all while optimizing revenue.

"Partnering with the CPCA supports our underlying vision of Total Coverage Management. Together, we are making a valuable difference at the patient level by providing a better coverage experience for Medicaid and low-income patients," said Everett Lebherz, Co-Founder and CEO, PointCare. "Coverage delivers revenue, plain and simple. With looming coverage changes by the ACA, clinics with access to PointCare's data are better equipped to proactively take steps to work efficiently, keep patients covered, and secure their own revenue to be less dependent on grant funding."
